It’s Raining Cats and Dogs

Is it me or does the global warming lark bring more rain instead of sunshine?  Well, its almost in mid June now and yet nearly every other day there’s a chance of monsoon downfalls sweeping through London.  Okay, slight exaggeration, but hopefully I’ve helped to create the scene.  TSMG has several umbrellas but thought my giant Cats & Dogs umbrella is particular worthy of a mention, considering the weather.

Dog Day Afternoon

In London, amongst a sea of umbrellas, it is hard to stand out from the crowd.  Sure I use the Swaine Adeney Brigg umbrella from time to time, but one does not always want to wander around with £100 worth of umbrella.  So on these dog day afternoons, where the weather dictates one ought to be protected from the elements,  I prefer to do so with some degree of swag.   The Cats & Dogs umbrella by, British designer, Ted Baker is guaranteed to garner looks of admiration.

My Kitty’s Bigger Than Yours

Calm down dear! Ted Baker is famed for designs with a twist and one such twist is that the inner lining of this umbrella features images of pets of numerous Ted Baker employees.  I think it is fair to say s/he with the biggest kitty is sure to have bragging rights over fellow employees.

And The Price…

Well, I was incredibly lucky to pick this little beauty up from the Ted Baker store based in the Designer Outlet in Ashford, Kent for a mere fifteen quid.  I’ve looked around many websites to see where you could still purchase this, but it appears to be sold out in all of the sites I’ve checked.

So what do you think about this Ted Baker Cats & Dogs umbrella?  Overrated or worthy of praise? Leave a comment on this or anything else you’d like to add.  We’d love to hear your view.
